Background
Anna's diagnostic method centres on a distinction she draws on every engagement: process maps describe how work is supposed to flow, but decision maps describe who actually has to say yes before it can. She's found that the gap between the two documents is usually where an operating model redesign should start, because it's where the current state persists despite everyone agreeing it shouldn't.
She has worked across target operating model design for asset managers and private banks, and trains incoming principals on decision-mapping methodology during their first engagements.
