Careers
38 consultants, five practice areas, one London office. We're small on purpose — every new hire changes the firm's character noticeably, which we treat as a reason to hire carefully, not a reason to hire cautiously.
Why Alden
We apply the same decision-rights thinking internally that we bring to client engagements. Consultants are given real ownership of specific decisions early — not nominal ownership dressed up in a title, but the kind where you're genuinely the person who has to defend the call.
That means client-facing responsibility earlier than at most firms our size or larger, and it means being wrong sometimes, visibly, in front of a client — which we think is a more honest way to develop judgment than years of internal case studies before any real exposure.
"Most transformation programmes fail not because the strategy is wrong, but because no one changed who gets to decide. We try not to make that mistake internally either."

How we hire
A genuine conversation about your background and what you're looking for, not a screening call.
We work through a real, anonymised engagement problem together — we're listening for how you think, not for a rehearsed answer.
Time with the practice you'd be joining, including people below partner level who'll tell you what it's actually like.
A final conversation with a senior partner, focused on fit and the specific decision-rights you'd be given early.
Get in touch directly — we read every enquiry personally.
