Background
Daniel's engagements often involve preparing clients for their first meeting with a new supervisory team, an event he treats as far more consequential than most institutions realise. His observation, drawn from years of preparing clients for exactly these moments, is that supervisors form a durable view of a firm in that first meeting, and most of what follows functions as confirmation of that initial read rather than a genuinely open assessment.
He has supported cross-border regulatory engagements for payments and asset management clients, and focuses much of his research on reading early regulatory signals before they harden into formal requirements.
