Biography
Nicholas Farrow joined Mercer & Stone in 2016 and made partner in 2024, advising on PRA enforcement and prudential regulation matters for banks and insurers.
He works alongside David Okonjo-Reid on the firm's regulatory investigations practice, with particular focus on prudential capital and governance requirements.
Philosophy
"What do clients get wrong about regulatory investigations?"
That the PRA and the FCA behave the same way. They don't — the PRA's focus on prudential soundness calls for a different kind of engagement than a conduct-focused FCA investigation, and treating them identically is a common early mistake.
