Biography
James Halloran joined Mercer & Stone in 2017 and was appointed Counsel in 2023, supporting Charles Stone and Marcus Reid on the firm's largest commercial fraud matters.
He is particularly experienced in the forensic reconstruction of disputed transactions, a skill central to the firm's approach to fraud defence.
Philosophy

How much of a fraud defence is built from documents no one thought were relevant at the time. The reconstruction work is unglamorous, and it's usually where the case is actually won.
