Biography
Hassan Malik joined Mercer & Stone in 2019 and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2024, working with Charles Stone and James Halloran on commercial fraud and contractual disputes.
He has a particular focus on interim injunctive relief and freezing order applications.
Philosophy
"What do clients underestimate about commercial disputes?"
How high the bar is for a freezing order, and how often it's requested as a first resort rather than a considered one. Used well, it's a powerful tool. Used reflexively, it can hand the other side a procedural advantage.
